Serpion's Space — Around and Around

In the summer of 2010, I took part in a workshop by Vladimir Kupriyanov (25 October 1954 - 26 December 2011) entitled “The Monastic Way of Life”.

It was filmed in the Serapion's Desert in the Vladimir region, far away from the “world”, next to a forest and a river.

One of the main people in the hermitage is monk Serpion. I called my project “Serpion's Space”.

Initially, the result was three sheets of paper with three photos on each.

Now, in 2023, I've rethought and expanded the project, and I've called it “Serpion's Space — Around and Around”…
